Our Story

Josephine "On a 1 acre block in Gordonvale, my children were drinking on average 4 litres of milk a day. Being tired of going to the store to buy milk constantly I decided to buy my first milking cow. The morning after buying miss moo, my first milking experience consisted of me on a stool beside my cow with an ipad next to me with a how-to milk a cow video. She produced 9 litres a day so i had to learn how to make cheese, butter, yogurt and cream. The next thing from there was a veggie garden and that is where my journey of  being as self sustainable as possible started. What was a hobby turned into a dream of owning a homestead when I met Jason. Sharing the same beiliefs we set off on our journey that would end in the Malanda countryside.
